Study Participants Needed - Great Opportunity!

Atlanta runners, get your VO2 Max tested for free!

A research study is being conducted at Georgia State University and is recruiting women and men age 18-40 who run 15-35 miles a week (who ONLY run, sorry no cyclists or triathletes). The other restricition is you can't be on hormonal birth control.

The test will take approximately 1.25 hours to fill out paperwork, go over protocol, take height, weight, 4 skinfolds, then the treadmill test.

If you're interested send an email to lquinones2@student.gsu

This could be you (without paying the $$$$)

  1. I guess being pregnant would disqualify me. That and the fact that I haven't ran much in the last month...

  2. wow I am super jealous I am not in ATL for this!

Saw your comment about being faster after becoming a mom and it really made me think, I wonder if it's because mom's are just mentally tougher and running such a mental game?

  3. And thinking about the hundreds of things I need to do when I get back home helps keep the pace peppy too! :)

I'll have to ask the people doing the V02Max testing if this holds true in their experience, and their theories on why that may be.
