Last night was a little bittersweet. We sold Little Red Saturn. When I received her (Little Red Saturn was definitely a “girl car”) as my 17th birthday present she had 4 miles on the odometer. After 11 years and 153,147 miles, it was finally time to say goodbye. She needed some maintenance, and we decided it wasn’t cost effective to keep her anymore even as a commuter car.
So now I’ll be cruising around in the “Mom Mobile” full time. While I love the Subaru, Little Red Saturn was a symbol of my carefree single years. But it’s time to move on to bigger and better things. Most likely she’ll be purchased by some parent for their teenager. It’s a cute car for that age bracket. I hope they treat her well.
Here’s to you Little Red Saturn.
